London Vicar Communicates Message Via Loudspeakers

April 12, 2020

As churches around the world struggle to deliver their Easter sermons amidst the COVID-19 pandemic, one London vicar turns to a tried and true method — the boombox technique.

Pat Allerton, the vicar of St. Peter’s Church in Nottinghill, London, chose to present his Easter Sunday sermon using his bicycle and two loudspeakers.

During his two-wheeled tour, the vicar played hymns and engaged passers-by in song, followed by prayer.

Keep the faith, vicar Allerton!
