The American Occupational Therapy Association (AOTA) is hosting a series of continuing education programs to help occupational therapy practitioners, educators, and students with the evolving COVID-19 pandemic.

The webinars are free for AOTA members and non-members.

The following webinars are scheduled for April:

  • Wednesday, April 8: Update on the Coronavirus Aid, Relief, and Economic Security (CARES) Act
  • Thursday, April 9: Shortening the Distance: A Panel Discussion on Telehealth and Occupational Therapy with Children, Youth, and Adults.
  • Friday, April 10: OT at Home
  • Monday, April 13: Providing Pediatric Outpatient OT Using Telehealth Technologies: Case Study of a Hospital-Based Institution
  • Tuesday, April 14: State Advocacy Update: Ensuring Access to OT During a Pandemic

Dr. Julie Reagan

Julie Reagan, PhD, JD, MPH, is a public health expert and researcher with a doctorate degree in public health. She is an academic professor who teaches public health, healthcare administration, and public health law courses. Dr. Reagan is also a licensed attorney with over 20 years of experience as a state government attorney, primarily at public health agencies. She was the 2018 recipient of the American Public Health Association, Law Section, Jennifer Robbins Award for the Practice of Public Health Law.
